Actor Karthi's upcoming movie with Nalan Kumarasamy, tentatively titled Karthi 27 is gearing up for an official pooja ceremony video release tomorrow i.e. March 8, 2024 [Friday] at 5:00 PM. The movie touted to be titled Vaa Vaathiyarey, so far went by Karthi 26, but since the Karthi, C Prem Kumar will be releasing first, the Nalan Kumarasamy directed movie has become Karthi 27. 

Karthi 27 directed by Nalan Kumarasamy is said to be titled Vaa Vaathiyarey, but an official confirmation on the same awaits. Also starring Krithi Shetty as female lead, Sathyaraj as villain, Rajkiran as Karthi's grandfather, Anand Raj among others, Karthi 27 is said to have Santhosh Narayanan for music.
