Guardian Review: Hansika's horror thriller gets decoded by director KS Ravikumar

Guardian starring Hansika Motwani in the lead is an upcoming Tamil language horror thriller that is gearing up to release in theaters on March 8, 2024 i.e. International Womens' day. The film's team recently held a press meet where director KS Ravikumar had shared the first ever Guardian review on stage.

"I have watched the film...It's all for the little girl (Hansika does what she does) in the movie. The film (Guardian) not just has sentiment, but the second half is very touching because of this sentiment. It's all for the kid..You'll understand what they intend to tell with the title Guardian in the second half, and reasoning behind the title satisfied me towards the end. I felt she's (Hansika) is really a guardian for that girl...

Lady artiste who plays the little girl's mother has done well. (Comedians) Thangadhurai and Motta Rajendran as usual have hit it out of the park. There is comedy in the film, there is action, there are good songs (by Sam CS), there are emotions, there are elements that comes with a horror movie..Just like my films, Guardian is a movie that comes with a mix of everything. "

Guardian has story, screenplay and dialogues by Gurusaravanan, and is directed by Sabari and Gurusaravanan. Director Sabari is KS Ravikumar's nephew; Both Sabari and Gurusaravanan have previously also worked with director KS Ravikumar as his longtime assistants.
