The Greatest of All Time aka The GOAT is actor Vijay's upcoming movie which is written and directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by AGS Productions. The movie's digital rights has been up for grabs for a whopping Rs. 125 Cr. ever since it was announced, and latest we hear Netflix streaming platform has bagged The Greatest of All Time's OTT rights.  

While official announcements await, reports suggest that The GOAT's OTT rights were bagged by Netflix for a massive sum. Recently it was revealed that cinematographer Manikandan's daughter Abyuktha Manikandan plays actor Vijay's daughter in the movie. Latest we hear, one of Vijay's dual characters, has negative shades to it.

“She’s playing Vijay’s daughter. Since her father is from the industry and I’m also friends with Venkat Prabhu and Archana Kalpathi (the film’s producer), it has been very comfortable for her. And the team is also very helpful. She will resume shooting soon,” - Abyuktha Manikandan's mother to TOI on February 20, 2024

It remains to be seen which one of Vijay's characters - aged or younger will showcase the negative shade to him. The Greatest of All Time is a sci-fi multi-starrer with Yuvan Shankar Raja for music. If the highly anticipated Pushpa 2: The Rule  (Telugu movie starring Allu Arjun) postpones its scheduled release from August 15, 2024, then The GOAT can be expected in theaters as early as August 9, 2024.
