The story of actor Vijay's famous Neyveli selfie and how it went on to become on of the most re-tweeted images of 2020 is known to all. Earlier this year, the actor got a chance to recreate this famous selfie while shooting for his upcoming movie The Greatest of All Time (The GOAT).

The GOAT is incidentally produced by AGS Entertainment, the same banner that had produced Bigil (2019). When Vijay was escorted out of his shooting at Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC)’s campus by the Income Tax department back in 2020, it was in connection with the finances of the movie Bigil.

Now for the second time this year, and the first time since Vijay announced that he has submitted to register a political party named Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam under his leadership, the actor has recreated the selfie moment which had political significance to it as well.
