Actor Silambarasan TR is gearing up to celebrate his 41st birthday on February 3, 2024, and in lieu of the same the makers of his upcoming movie STR 48 (tentative title) have unveiled a banging first look. The poster features Simbu in dual periodic avatars raising the interest quotient behind his characters and the film's subject. Interestingly, it is said that director Desingh Periyasamy originally wrote the script for 'Superstar' Rajinikanth which later then ended up in Silambarasan's kitty.

STR 48 (working title) is actor Silambarasan TR's big budget project under Kamal Haasan's production banner Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI). The movie was officially announced in March, 2023, and comes with the tagline 'Blood and Battle'. Currently it is suggested that actress Pooja Hegde has come on board as film's female lead, and Devi Sri Prasad as the film's music composer. However official announcements await.
