SK 21 [tentative title] is an upcoming Sivakarthikeyan movie, which is produced by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI) and written, directed by Rajkumar Periasamy. SK 21 is expected to release in theaters this year, and its OTT release details were officially unveiled recently.

Post its theatrical run, partiotic action drama SK 21 will make its digital premiere on Netflix, and the film will stream in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi languages. SK 21 is said to be based on martyred Indian army major Mukund Varadarajan, who is the fourth recipient of the Ashoka Chakra* from the state of Tamil Nadu.

Mukund Varadarajan was lost in action during a 2014 counterterrorism operation, and he was posthumously awarded *India's highest peacetime military decoration for valor, courageous action, and/or self-sacrifice away from the battlefield.

SK 21 also stars Kamal Hassan in a special appearance, Sai Pallavi, Hindi actor Rahul Bose among others. The film's technical crew includes GV Prakash for music, CH Sai for cinematography and R. Kalaivanan for edits. Buzz has it that SK 21's title and first look will be unveiled around Sivakarthikeyan's birthday which falls on February 17, 2024.
