Captain Miller starring Dhanush in the lead is an upcoming period action adventure that is scheduled to release in theaters on January 12, 2024 for Pongal/Sankranthi. Sathya Jyothi Films, the production banner behind the film has now officially announced the Captain Miller trailer release date as January 6, 2024 [Saturday]. 

Written and directed by Arun Matheswaran, Captain Miller shares its title with the first suicide bomber of the Tamil militant group - Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam aka the LTTE. The movie also stars Priyanka Mohan, Shivarajkumar, Sundeep Kishan among others and its trailer will be unveiled on Sun TV's YouTube channel.

The next day i.e. on Sunday [January 7, 2024], Sun TV Tamil channel is set to telecast the Captain Miller audio launch event, which took place on January 3, 2024 at Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai. Captain Miller has GV Prakash for music and Saregama as its audio label.

Set during the British era, Captain Miller revolves around a renegade Miller (Dhanush) and his unconventional outlaws who execute daring loots and heists. Miller also known as Analeesa in the movie, must decide whether to continue running or confront the challenges head-on.
