Actress Anandhi also known as 'Kayal' Anandhi was last seen in the Tamil movie Raavana Kottam in 2023. She will next be seen playing lead in the heroine-centric movie Mangai, written and directed by Gubenthiran Kamatchi. A production venture of JSM Pictures, Mangai comes with the tagline 'Travel of Women' and its first look poster unveiled today hints at the objectification women are subject to in the digital era. 

Mangai has been announced as a Tamil-Telugu bilingual and has Theeson for music, SJ Star for cinematography.
