18 Miles (Tharana) is an upcoming Tamil language coastal story, written and directed by Satish Selvakumar of Bachelor (2021) fame, and starring Ashok Selvan and Mirnaa in the lead. The movie had a first look poster release on Thursday, and is all set for a first glimpse video release on August 22, 2025 (Friday). 

First look of 18 Miles (Tharana) is mildly reminiscent of the first look of Christopher Nolan's TENET (2020), which was an inverted poster too, with the lead character titled, and placed upside down. In visual styling, this is often used to symbolize a dual perspective in the film’s theme.
