Actor Soori has teamed up with Ayalaan director Ravikumar for his next project, tentatively titled Soori 07. The latest reports suggest that Mamitha Baiju has been approached to play the female lead. However, sources indicate that the actor is yet to confirm her availability, and an official announcement from the makers is awaited.

Soori, who made his lead debut with Vetrimaaran’s Viduthalai franchise, has since been steadily building his filmography with projects like Garudan and Kottukkaali. Following Maaman, he is currently working on Mandaadi, a stunt-driven film set in coastal Tamil Nadu, directed by Mathimaran Pugazhendhi. The film, backed by RS Infotainment, is also expected to release in Telugu.

The upcoming Soori–Ravikumar project is planned as a Tamil-Telugu bilingual. It will be produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers, marking the banner’s third Tamil venture after Good Bad Ugly and Dude.
