Superstar Rajinikanth’s Coolie has been having an impressive run at the Karnataka box office. Coolie released in theatres on August 14, 2025 and in the first 7 days grossed Rs. 37. 25 Cr. As of day 8, the gross having moved past this figure, Coolie has now entered its second week with an impressive 90% recovery, achieved in just 8 days. The Kannada theatrical rights for Coolie were acquired for Rs. 22 Cr.

Notably, the Kannada dubbed version of Coolie has contributed Rs. 3.07 Cr. gross in 8 days (excluding the Tamil version’s gross in the state), reflecting the film’s strong reception among local audiences. With these numbers, the Rajinikanth starrer has covered nearly all costs for Coolie's Karnataka distributors, AV Media Consultancy, and Jayanna Films.
