As reported previously, the first look of Thalapathy 68, actor Vijay's upcoming movie with director Venkat Prabhu was unveiled marking New Year's eve. Thalapathy 68 title is The Greatest of All Time (The GOAT); All of Vijay's films since 2019 with the exception of Varisu this year have had all English titles. The GOAT comes with the tagline 'A Venkat Prabhu Hero' and its first look poster features Vijay in dual roles and paragliding gear.  

Previous Thalapathy 68 buzz suggested that Vijay will be seen as a 19 year old in flashback portions, and the Thalapathy 68 first look i.e. The GOAT's first look reveals one of the Vijay characters to be younger. The Greatest of All Time poster suggests that the older and younger Vijays have jumped off the motorglider seen overhead; The poster also comes with the line 'Light can devour the darkness but darkness cannot consume the light'.

An AGS Entertainment production, The Greatest of All Time has Yuvan Shankar Raja for music and comes with an ensemble of Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Mohan, Jayaram, Ajmal Ameer, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Vaibhav, Premgi Amaren, Aravind Akash, Ivana, Ajay Raj among others. The movie is buzzed to be based on American plane hijacker DB Cooper, though official announcements on the same await.
