A few days ago, star actor Rajinikanth had sent relief via the Rajinikanth Foundation to be distributed in the flooded regions of Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi, Kanyakumari and Tenkasi. Members of the Rajinikanth fan club association had updated last week, that they were taking the relief materials via trucks to be handed over directly to the people affected in all these four regions.

The video released also had the speaker mentioning that, prior to the relief distribution on December 22, 2023, the fan club had taken stock of the damage and needs of the people affected by incessant rains and inundation.

Rajinikanth is currently shooting for his film Vettaiyan in and around these Southern Tamil Nadu districts, and has taken the time to meet with the fan club members who helped in the flood relief disbursal.
