Thalapathy 68 (tentative title) is an upcoming Vijay starrer which is currently in its shooting stage. A Venkat Prabhu directorial, Thalapathy 68 is a multi-starrer that comes with the tagline 'A Venkat Prabhu puzzle'. Latest on this film is that the Thalapathy 68 title will be unveiled with a promo, and first look release on New Year's eve i.e. December 31, 2023 [Sunday] at 6 PM. Just like Vijay's last outing Leo, Thalapathy 68 is also said to have an English title, for a PAN Indian reach.

Thalapathy 68 second look poster will release on New Year's day i.e. January 1, 2024 [Monday]. Official announcements on the same are however awaited. An AGS Entertainment production, Thalapathy 68 has Yuvan Shankar Raja for music and is touted to be a sci-fi thriller.

The movie will reportedly see Vijay in multiple avatars, including a 19 year old avatar in flashback portions. The makers are said to have spent a whopping Rs. 6 Cr. for these flashback portions alone in which Vijay will appear in a massive transformation-look.
