Leo starring Vijay in the lead released in theaters on October 19, 2023, and completed 25 days of theatrical run during the bygone Diwali weekend. 7 Screen Studio, the production banner behind Leo officially announced that the film has broken several box-office records which includes Leo being the highest grossing movie in Tamil Nadu, with a highest distributor share of Rs. 100 Cr in the region as well.
