Anirudh Ravichander is the most happening music composer of the Tamil film industry right now, and his recent work for Tamil film Leo starring Vijay in the lead is at the brink of a controversy right now. In addition to the official tracks from the Leo album, Anirudh has also been releasing individual sound tracks that featured in the movie. 

Latest track to release from Leo is titled Ordinary Person, and netizens quickly found similarities between this and two other popular tracks they've been accustomed to. A Belarusian music composer named Otnicka (real name Aliaksei Stanulevich) has a 2020 track titled Where Are You, and he seems to have reworked the same tune in 2021 for the title track of the popular British series Peaky Blinders [is a popular track on streaming platforms too].

Post the release of Ordinary Person, Tamil netizens flooded the YouTube comment section of the official Where Are You video, curious to know if Anirudh had sampled Otnicka's work. However Otnicka seems to have claimed no knowledge of the Leo music composer using his copyrighted work. Anirudh is yet to make an official statement on the same.
