Indian 2 - the long awaited sequel to Shankar, Kamal Haasan's 1996 hit Indian, is all set to release in theaters in 2024. The film has wrapped shooting, and producers Lyca Productions have now given a glimpse of director Shankar and Indian 2 lead star Kamal Haasan in a dubbing session. Indian 2 dubbing is currently taking place at Le Magic Lantern studio in Chennai.

In production since 2019, Indian 2 is jointly backed by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies. The multi-starrer film will see the return of Kamal Haasan as vigilante 'Senapathy', alongside Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Kalidas Jayaram, Gulshan Grover, Bobby Simha, Samuthirakani among others.
