Leo starring actor Vijay in the lead is an upcoming Tamil movie which will also release in dubbed Telugu, Kannada and Hindi versions on October 19, 2023. At this time, it is being said that the movie's team will be promoting its Telugu release in Hyderabad with a small pre-release event. Though there is no official announcement, buzz in the Tollywood grapevine is that Leo director Lokesh Kanagaraj and music composer Anirudh will be attending and performing at the event respectively. 

It is worth mentioning here that a similar buzz had surfaced a few days ago suggesting the exact same pre-release event at Dubai with director Lokesh and Anirudh in attendance, but the "update" later turned out to be fake news. 

A gangster action thriller part of the Lokesh cinematic universe (LCU), Leo (2023) comes as a follow up to Vikram (2022) and Kaithi (2019). The movie is an official adaptation of the graphic novel A History of Violence (1997) where the hero has dual identity of a sought-after gangster and a conventional common man.
