An official update on actor Vijay's upcoming October 19, 2023 release Leo has finally dropped, and it has been revealed that the film's second single is titled Badass. As previously reported, it has also been officially confirmed that Badass is sung by Leo's music composer Anirudh; Vishnu Edavan has penned the lyrics. Badass lyric video will be unveiled at 6 PM on September 28, 2023 [Thursday] and a glimpse of the same reveals that Vijay's character is named 'Leo Das' in the movie.

A gangster thriller, Leo is touted to be part of director Lokesh Kanagaraj's cinematic universe known as the LCU, which also has Karthi starrer Kaithi [2019] and Kamal Haasan starrer Vikram [2022] in it. Leo is a production venture of 7 Screen Studio and has Sony Music for its audio label.
