D 51 (tentative title) is actor Dhanush's next movie with Telugu director Sekhar Kammula, and the project is a production venture of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd. The film was officially announced a day before Dhanush's 40th birthday i.e. on July 27, 2023. After Rashmika Mandanna, makers have now updated that Telugu star Nagarjuna in onboard D 51.

The movie said to be a thriller with political, mafia background is scheduled to release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages. D 51 is expected to begin shooting soon, and is likely to have AR Rahman for music.
