Captain Miller starring Dhanush in the lead is an upcoming period action drama produced by Sathya Jyothi Films. The movie which shares its title with the first suicide bomber of the Tamil militant group - Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam aka the LTTE, had its teaser release today marking Dhanush's 40th birthday.

Dhanush plays the titular character also known by the name Analeesan in Captain Miller, and the film's release date has now been officially announced as December 15, 2023. 

Captain Miller is written and directed by Arun Matheswaran of Rocky (2021), Saani Kaayidham (2022) fame. The movie also stars Priyanka Mohan, Sundeep Kishan, Kannada star Shivarajkumar (in images below) among others, and has GV Prakash for music. 

The technical crew of Captain Miller also includes Siddhartha Nuni for cinematography, Dhilip Subbarayan for stunts, T. Ramalingam for art,  Poornima Ramasamy and Kavya Sriraam for the costumes, Sync Cinema for sound design and Nagooran for edits.
