Leo is an upcoming Vijay starrer written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj of Maanagaram (2017), Kaithi (2019) and Vikram (2022) fame. The movie is the filmmaker's second film with Vijay after the pandemic release Master (2021). Touted to be a gangster action thriller part of Lokesh's cinematic universe known as the LCU, Leo has a host of directors namely Gautham Menon, Mysskin, late Manobala, SJ Suryah(unconfirmed) among others playing important roles. 

Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap is the latest filmmaker revealed to be playing an acting role in Leo. A Seven Screen Studio Production, Leo is scheduled to release in theaters on October 19, 2023. The movie has Anirudh for music.
