Leo is an upcoming Vijay starrer which recently had a first look poster and single release. The poster featured Vijay in an intense action mode with a bloodied hammer against a human hand fending for safety, while a spotted Hyena could be seen growling in the background of the actor. Apparently this scene featured on the poster is a pivotal stunt break in Leo, and producers 7 Screen Studio have dropped a massive Rs. 10 Cr. on this action block alone.

Leo is partially set in Kashmir, and snow covered mountains could also be seen in the film's first look hinting this Hyena action scene takes place in Kashmir. However spotted hyenas are not native to Asia let alone India, and even the striped Hyenas that are native to India are an endangered species as of 2022. It is only probable that the Hyena in Leo's action scene is a product of VFX or animatronics. 

Nevertheless, Leo's hyena action scene is being touted as the costliest ever stunt featuring an animal in Tamil cinema. Leo is written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and has action choreography by National award winning stunt-master duo Anbariv.
