Y Not Studios producer Sashikanth is turning director with an upcoming Tamil movie titled TEST, and the film stars actors Madhavan, Nayanthara and Siddharth in the lead. It was officially announced today that singer Sakthisree Gopalan is turning music director with this movie, which is touted to be 'a powerful and poignant story about the triumph of the human spirit and the enduring values of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and perseverance'.

TEST aims for a Summer 2024 release in theaters, and will be screened in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages. The movie is expected to wrap shooting by July, 2023.
