Ayothi starring actor Sasikumar in the lead is a Tamil film that marks the debut of director Manthira Moorthy. The movie opened to decent reviews on March 3, 2023 and now the film is all set to make its digital premiere on Zee 5 streaming platform. While the film was initially expected to stream from March 31, 2023 i.e. today, an official confirmation from Zee 5 reveals Ayothi's OTT release date to be April 7, 2023 i.e. next Friday.

An emotional drama, Ayothi comes with a runtime of 121 minutes. The movie's story follows a family of four from North India who visit Rameshwaram for darshan. One of them dies in a car accident driven by Sasikumar's friend. The hero takes over the situation, to help the innocent family fly back to their native place for the cremation process.
