Sivakarthikeyan's 21st feature film release will be Maaveeran directed by Madonne Ashwin, and depending on when Ayalaan - a long pending project of the actor's comes out, his movie with Rangoon director Rajkumar Periyasamy will be SK 22 or SK 23. 

The untitled movie with Rajkumar Periyasamy is a Kamal Haasan production and was officially announced during the Bigg Boss Tamil 5 finale show in January, 2022. Sai Pallavi plays female lead in this film, and latest we hear it is all set to begin shooting from April, 2023.  

Along with Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI), Sony Pictures Films India and God Bless Entertainment are co-producing. Touted to be a big budget PAN Indian movie high on patriotism, this latest Sivakarthikeyan outing has National award winning duo Anbariv (KGF, Beast, Vikram) for stunts. Disney Plus Hotstar OTT platform and Star Network's TV channels are said to hold the digital and satellite rights respectively.
