Maamannan written and directed by Mari Selvaraj of Pariyerum Perumal (2018), Karnan (2021) fame, is an upcoming political thriller starring Udshayanidhi Stalin, Keerthy Suresh, Fahadh Faasil and Vadivelu in central roles. The movie produced by Udhay's Red Giant Movies is gearing up for an April release this year, and today the makers have updated that Vadivelu has begun dubbing. 

Maamannan has AR Rahman for music and its post-theatrical OTT rights are with Netflix streaming platform. The movie has Theni Eswar for cinematography, RK Selva for edits.
