Watch Vaathi Trailer. Vaathi/SIR is an upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual starring actor Dhanush in the lead, and recently the film's writer, director Venky Atluri confirmed that the movie's approximate runtime is expected to be 2 hours and 12 minutes i.e. 132 minutes.

Vaathi/SIR is scheduled to release in theaters on February 17, 2023 and will see Dhanush as a 90s junior lecturer named Balamurugan (Tamil) / Bala Gangadhar Tilak (Telugu). How he stands against institutes indulging in the commercialization of education forms the rest of the story.
