Earlier today, it was revealed that the passes for Varisu movie audio launch were distributed among members of the Vijay Makkal Iyakkam (VMI), the official fan club of Varisu lead actor Vijay. Apparently scalping of these passes have already begun and social media is filled with screenshot-expose of ardent Vijay fans selling them for a starting price of Rs. 4000 - Rs. 5000. The availability of these passes for the said price and above are also being advertised on direct messaging platforms like Whatsapp.

Don't buy any pass, especially those in Name of OTFC.. None of the Passes from OTFC are for sale and the team itself didn't received any pass till now.

But audio launch passes being scalped at 15-17 times the price of an average movie ticket, has sent shock waves across Tamil film fandoms. There has also been a word of caution from VMI's side that many scammers are usurping money, from people desperate to get their hands on an audio launch pass. Fans are currently being warned to beware of such scammers.
