In November, it was revealed that Vijay starrer Varisu will have a grand Christmas audio launch at the Nehru Indoor Stadium at Chennai, the same venue that Vijay's Mersal had a memorable audio launch in 2017. Varisu audio launch event is quite the anticipated one among fans, as Vijay's last film Beast (2022) had its music event cancelled at the last minute due to production delays and COVID-19 restrictions.   

And latest we hear, composer Anirudh will be singing the Varisu third single live at the audio launch event, which is to take place on December 24, 2022 at the Jawaharlal Nehru indoor stadium. An official announcement on the same is however awaited from the makers. 

Varisu directed by Vamshi Paidipally is also releasing in Telugu as Vaarasudu, and Tollywood producer Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations is the producer of the movie. The film's audio rights is held by the T-series music label.
