A template commercial entertainer, DSP starring Vijay Sethupathi in the lead released in theaters on December 2, 2022. The movie is written and directed by Ponram of Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam (2013) and Rajinimurugan (2016) fame. This cop action comedy was previously said to be making its digital premiere on New Years, with a release date not confirmed.

Latest we hear DSP will start streaming on Sun Nxt from December 30, 2022 [Friday]. It remains to be seen if the movie will also premiere on Netflix, that holds the OTT rights to DSP as well.
