DSP is actor Vijay Sethupathi’s upcoming film with director Ponram and the movie's first single titled Nalla Irumaa has now been unveiled. Composer D. Imman had previously shared that he recorded famous playback singer Udit Narayan for this number; Udit's last Tamil song was in 2015. Senthil Ganesh and Maalavika Sundar have co-sung Nalla Irumaa and it has lyrics by Vijay Muthupandi.

2018’s Femina Miss India World winner Anukreethy Vas playing the female lead in DSP, which is produced by Kaarthekeyan Santhanam and presented by Karthik Subbaraj’s Stone Bench Films. DSP is scheduled to release in theaters in December, 2022.
