Actor Vijay's upcoming movie Varisu is gearing up for a first single release on November 5, 2022 [official now] and a promo of the song, composed by Thaman has now been unveiled. Titled Ranjithame, the duet dance number is sung by Vijay and Manasi MM,  and has lyrics by Vivek. The promo video also showed a glimpse of Vijay's fast dance steps from the song. 

Varisu is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju's Sri Venakteswara Creations. The movie has Rashmika Mandanna playing female lead and T- Series holds the audio rights to the album.  The film is scheduled to hit theater screens for Pongal on January 11, 2023 [official announcement on the release date awaits].
