Varisu [titled Vaarasudu in Telugu] is an upcoming Vijay starrer which is all set to release in theaters for Pongal on January 13, 2022. The movie which is directed by Vamshi Paidipally is touted to be a family entertainer and has choreography by Master Jani. Choreogrpaher Jani has previously worked with Vijay in the latter's last release Beast, and a song from the movie titled Arabic Kuthu went viral for not just its music but also for its hook steps. 

Now Jani has promised that the duo's work in Varisu will be no less by tweeting,

Varisu/Vaarasudu is expected to have its first single release during Diwali, 2022. The movie has music by SS Thaman and is produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations.
