Gautham Menon directed gangster drama Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu Part 1 The Kindling (VTK) released in theaters on September 15, 2022, and is now all set to make its OTT premiere on Amazon Prime Video on October 13, 2022. Ahead of the film's digital release, the makers have unveiled a deleted scene from this Silambarasan TR starrer, and have revealed that more deleted scenes will follow. 

VTK is centered around Silambarasan's character Muthu who gets caught in the Mumbai underground, when he travels to the city to tackle poverty. Part 1 deals with his journey into the dark world and how he manages to rise to the top. 

Also starring Siddhi Idnani, Radhika Sarathkumar, Neeraj Madhav among others, VTK has story by B. Jeyamohan, screenplay by Gautham Menon, music by AR Rahman and cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni. The movie is a production venture of Vels Films International.
