Director Vetrimaaran has been working with actors Soori, Vijay Sethupathi on a movie titled Viduthalai which is based on a novel titled Thunaivan by writer B. Jeyamohan. The film has Ilayaraaja for music and the movie produced by Elred Kumar's RS infotainment and Vetrimaaran's Grass Root Company, is being presented by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies.
