Life of Muthu, the Telugu dubbed version of Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu (VTK) was supposed to premiere in theaters today. But seemingly there was a delay and distributor of the movie in Andhra Pradesh and Telengana has now issued an official statement on the same. Sri Sranavanthi Movies which is presenting Life of Muthu directed by Gautham Menon and starring Silambarasan TR, tweeted:

Life of Muthu is penned by writer B. Jeyamohan and follows a GVM-style story of a young village boy who travels to Mumbai to earn a living. How he reluctantly becomes part of a web of underworld activities then unfolds, while also setting the stage for the sequel that is expected to follow. 

Life of Muthu is censored U/A and comes with a runtime of 173. 38 minutes. The movie also stars Siddhi Idnani, Neeraj Madhav, Raadika Sarathkumar, among others and has Siddhartha Nuni for cinematography, AR Rahman for music.
