Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu (VTK) is an upcoming Gautham Menon directorial which is a coming of age story of a reluctant gangster, played by Silambarasan TR. VTK: Part 1 the kindling is scheduled to release in theaters on September 15, 2022; Now, it has been revealed that the last 10-15 minutes of the movie will showcase the lead for part 2, in which STR is a fully transformed Mumbai city gangster.  

A Vels Film International production, Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu: Part 1 the kindling will unfold the floating journey of Silambarasan from a blue-collared rural man (Muthu) to a henchman in a big city. The movie has been censored with an U/A and comes with a runtime of 2 hours and 53 minutes.

VTK has AR Rahman for music, Siddhartha Nuni for cinematography, Anthony for edits and also stars Siddhi Idnani, Raadika Sarathkumar, Siddique, Neeraj Madhav, Aangelina Abraham among others.
