Vaathi (Sir in Telugu) is actor Dhanush's upcoming movie with Telugu director Venky Atluri of Tholi Prema (2018), Mr Majnu (2019) and Rang De (2021) fame. Latest upodate on the movie is that it is all set to hit theater screens on December 9, 2022. An official announcement on the same is however awaited.

Vaathi/Sir is produced by Sithara Entertainments, Fortune Four Cinemas, Srikara Studios and also stars Samyuktha Menon, Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Thotapalli Madhu, Narra Srinivas, Pammi Sai, Hyper Aadhi, Shara, Aadukalam Naren, Ilavarasu, Motta Rajendran, Hareesh Peradi, Praveena among others.

The technical crew of this film includes GV Prakash for music, J Yuvraj for cinematography, Venkat for stunts, Avinash Kolla for production design and Navin Nooli for edits.
