Ponniyin Selvan is a Mani Ratnam directed two-part period drama that stars Vikram, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha and Jayam Ravi among others. PS-I, first part of this magum opus opens in theaters on September 30, 2022 and earlier today the team held a small event at Hyderabad for the release of film's second single Chola Chola.

A dapper looking Vikram, on whose character the A.R. Rahman composition is based and actor Karthi who plays Vanthiyathevan in the movie were spotted at this event. Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies, producers of PS-I unveiled these stills from the event:

Also spotted at Hyderabad was actor Prakash Raj, who plays Vikram's father in the film.
