Sri Venkateswara Creations, producers of actor Vijay's upcoming movie Thalapathy 66 (tentative title) have been revealing the film's cast members these last few days. Today, along with confirming Yogi Babu and Shaam to be part of the movie, the team also revealed that Telugu actor Srikanth and actresses Sangeetha, Samyuktha Karthik (Tughlaq Durbar, Bigg Boss Tamil 4) are part of the Vijay starrer. 

Interestingly Vijay had once reprised Srikanth's lead role in 1998, when he starred in Ninaithen Vandhai a remake of Srikanth's 1996 Telugu hit Pelli Sandadi. Telugu star Allu Arjun's father Allu Arvind had produced both movies under Sri Raghavendra Movie Corporation. 

Thalapathy 66 is a Vamshi Paidipally directorial and also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Prabhu and Jayasudha among others. The movie has SS Thaman for music and is scheduled to release in theaters for Pongal, 2023.
