Sithara Entertainments, producers of Dhanush's upcoming Telugu-Tamil bilingual Sir/Vaathi announced today that the full fledged filming of the movie has begun. They also teased Dhanush's look in the movie by releasing these posters.

Sir is Dhanush's first direct Telugu movie and it is directed by Venky Atluri of Rang De and Tholiprema fame. The movie is said to traces the ambitious journey of a common man, who tries to bring a revolution in the flawed education system.

Dhanush is expected to wrap Vaathi within a quick period of time. The film is co-produced by Fortune 4 Cinemas and has GV Prakash for music, Dinesh Krishnan for cinematography and Naveen Nooli for the edits.
