Kannada 'power star' Puneeth Rajkumar, the youngest son of Kannada cinema legend Dr Rajkumar died in a Bengaluru hospital today after suffering a sudden heart attack. The 46 year old actor's demise has sent shockwaves across the Indian film industry.

Puneeth Rajkumar was admitted to Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru after suffering chest pain at 11.30 am but doctors had said that he was brought unresponsive and that they were trying their best to treat him. He is survived by wife Ashwini and two children Vandhitha and Drithi.

The actor was last part of a psychological thriller titled Dvita, directed by U turn fame Pawan Kumar.
