Actor Dhruv Vikram recently wrapped shooting for his upcoming movie Mahaan and has been training in Kabbadi religiously for his upcoming sports biopic with director Mari Selvaraj. The yet to be titled film, which is based on a Tamil Nadu Kabbadi player and an Asian Games medalist was to be produced by Pa. Ranjith's Neelam Productions.

Now, we hear the project is getting postponed and Mari Selvaraj will be first doing a film with Udhayanidhi Stalin instead. Udhay has not worked with the director before but he was all praises for Karnan earlier this year.

He had also thanked the director for correcting the time-line of a public incident in the movie, which previously indicated that it happened during DMK's regime.
