Actor Vijay Sethupathi's upcoming movie Laabam which is gearing up for a theatrical release on September 9, 2021 (Thursday) had its second trailer release today. Written and directed by SP Jananathan, Laabam is about how how the industrial and corporate sectors of society plunder agricultural resources for their own benefits.

The movie has Vijay Sethupathi playing an activist who fights for farmers' rights and also stars Shruthi Haasan, Jagapathi Babu among others. Laabam is produced by Vijay Sethupathi Productions and 7Cs Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and has D. Imman for music.

Since the second trailer has been unveiled on Sun TV's YouTube, Laabam is expected to make its satellite premiere on the Tamil TV channel, post its theatrical release.
