Hindi hit film Badhaai Ho (2018) which is about a youngster coming to terms with his aged parents' pregnancy, is being remade in Tamil as Veetla Visheshanga. RJ Bajali is starring and co-directing the movie and now it has been revealed that Soorarai Pottru fame Aparna Balamurali is playing female lead in it.

Valimai producer Boney Kapoor is producing Veetla Visheshanga along with Zee Studios and Romeo Pictures. NJ Saravanan who co-directed Mookuthi Amman with RJ Balaji, is the other director in this movie which begins shooting at Coimbatore this week.

While RJ Balaji and Aparna are reprising Ayushman Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra's roles, Neena Gupta and Gajaraj Rao's characters are being reprised in Tamil by Urvashi and Sathyaraj respectively.
