Star, an upcoming movie directed by Elan of Pyaar Prema Kaadhal (PPK) fame and starring his PPK hero Harish Kalyan had garnered interest through its first look posters. Harish was seen emulating 'Thalapathi' Rajinikanth, 80s Kamal Haasan and a classic Shah Rukh Khan in these posters. 

Now it is being said that the movie, which was about an artists' evolution into a star through his teen, youth and the 30s has been shelved. Word is that director Elan has moved on to a bigger production than Star, featuring a bigger hero. 

However details of Elan's new movie remain unknown at the moment. Harish meanwhile has been shooting for a film with director Sasi of Poo, Pichaikkaran and Sivappu Manjal Pachchai fame.
