Director Karthik Subbaraj has revealed that before Tamil Nadu went into intensive lockdown last month, shooting for Chiyaan 60, his upcoming movie with Vikram and Dhruv Vikram was going on in full swing. Karthik further added that almost 50% of the film's shooting is now complete and the team will resume shooting as soon as lockdown restrictions are eased.

Touted to be a revenge action drama, Chiyaan 60 has Simran, Vani Bhojan and Bobby Simha among others in pivotal roles. Produced by Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio, the movie has Santhosh Narayanan for music.
