Earlier this month we have reported that Producer Dil Raju is in talks with thalapathy Vijay for a collaboration. Prashanth Neel of KGF Fame and Vamshi Paidipally names have been suggested to be the possible director of the film. However, in a recent interview to a Telugu media, director Vamshi Paidipally confirms that he will directing the upcoming Vijay - Dil Raju Project.

The director says that they are currently in the story discussion stage and the project will kick start soon after the corona situation comes under the control.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, the project was not announced officially yet and will happen on right time, adds the director.
