The Tamil remake of Article 15 is directed by Arunraja Kamaraj and stars Udhayanidhi Stalin in the lead. The film has completed shooting for its first schedule at Pollachi and reportedly actress Tanya Ravichandran was also part of this schedule. She play's Udhay's wife in the movie.

Article 15 Tamil remake is produced by Rahul and Boney Kapoor and will begin its second schedule at Chennai on May 14, 2021. The movie also stars Bigg Boss Tamil Season 4 winner Aari in an important role. 

Anubhav Sinha's Article 15 is an investigative drama which highlights the gross caste oppression people face in rural India. The film's story is inspired from several true life events and is available to stream on Netflix.
